Administrative, supervisory and technical work in monitoring and directing all financial management operations for the Town of Brookline, which include statutory duties for the offices of the Comptroller, Treasurer/Collector, purchasing, assessing, and information services; technical work involving the receipt, disbursement and investment of Town and Retirement Board funds, the borrowing of money and the collection of all taxes due to the Town; oversees the management information system for the Town; performs technical accounting, financial, and computerized functions in maintaining the fiscal records and systems of the Town. Administers all internal and external financial reporting requirements; coordinates relations with investors in Town securities; all other related work as required.
