What is included in the conference registration fee?
All educational sessions and recordings. You will receive access to a web/mobile app containing access to the live educational sessions, networking and sponsor access, handouts from sessions and recordings of sessions after the event.

Who is a considered a participating bank/vendor?
A participating vendor organization is one that markets product/services to treasury professionals or banks AND is a New England AFP Conference Sponsor. If your organization provides products or services to treasury professionals or banks, and your organization is not listed under Sponsors then you are considered a non-participating vendor.
Can I attend any session listed?
The Conference Tracks are designed under specific interest groups and levels allowing you to customize your own agenda. You may attend any session you wish either in a specific track or any combination thereof.

What if I need to cancel my conference registration?
Refunds require a written request and must be emailed on or before April 23. Telephone calls are not acceptable. No refunds will be made after April 23. You may send someone in your place or receive a credit to be applied to the New England AFP 2022 Conference. No refunds will be given for no-shows.
Can I share my registration?
Registrations are accepted on an individual basis and access to the conference Online Event Guide is unique to each registrant. For every paid registration, only one device (computer, laptop, tablet, phone) will be allowed to enter the virtual conference at a time. Only registered attendees will receive education credits. With that said, there is nothing stopping you from attending the virtual event and allowing your colleagues to enjoy the conference with you (socially distanced) from wherever you are viewing the event!


What technology do I need to participate at the virtual conference?
A high-speed internet connection, speaker, microphone and webcam are needed to participate virtually. For the best experience, we suggest using a desktop or laptop computer and Chrome as your internet browser. If you don’t already have Chrome, you can download it for free here. While not required, you will have a better online experience if you do not use wireless internet service. A wired/ethernet connection will have a stronger signal than wireless.
As we get closer to the virtual conference, we will share instructions on how to download the CrowdCompass Online Event Guide and app, which will serve as a hub to access all the conference content on your PC/laptop.  All networking will take place on Remo and all sessions will be through Webex, both directly accessible from within the CrowdCompass platform.

Do I need to have a webcam for the event?
Using a webcam is highly recommended to maximize your conference experience. While not required to view the presentation slides and virtual presenters, a webcam will allow you to interact and network with presenters and fellow attendees face-to-face. You can choose to turn your camera off if you only want to use it to view and not allow others to see you.
When will I receive the instructions for participating in the virtual conference?
New England AFP is working diligently to prepare for this unique experience and will send you the necessary instructions within a couple of weeks of the conference. Make sure that the email address associated with your registration is accurate and up to date so that there is no delay in receiving our communications.
Can my computer or mobile device handle the virtual conference?
Most up-to-date computers and mobile devices  are capable of running the virtual conference for you. For the best virtual experience, we recommend joining the virtual conference on your laptop or computer.
What do I need to do on the day of the virtual conference?
On the morning of the event, you will log in to the CrowdCompass Online Event Guide to access the program schedule. Here, you will find  links to the sessions you choose. Please do not attempt to login earlier than this.
You can also access the program from your mobile device. However, for the best experience, we recommend using the Online Event Guide on your desktop or laptop computer.


How is the content chosen for the virtual conference?
As with each of the past 35 annual NEAFP conferences, content for the virtual conference is planned by and for the New England AFP community. Our passionate volunteers serve on the conference committee and select the content you want. If you are interested in submitting a request to present, the call for presentations will open in the Fall for the NEAFP 2022 Conference.
Are there recordings available after the events?
Yes, sessions will be recorded and the content will be available on-demand through the CrowdCompass app for conference registrants for 60 days, as permissible by each presenter.
Do I have access to all of the sessions?
In a word, yes! Similar to if you were attending the conference on-site, you can select which sessions you’d like to attend virtually. It is up to you to decide which sessions interest you in a given time block and to attend those sessions as desired. You may attend as many or as few sessions as you want. But please note that not all sessions may be available on-demand.
Can I access and view recordings of any session from the conference?
Your virtual conference registration also includes access to all session recordings after the conference concludes and for up to 60 days. Don’t worry, you can view any sessions you missed out on as soon as the recordings for those sessions are made available. Note, however, that not all presenters may allow their content to be available on-demand. Please check the conference website listings as well as the Online Event Guide for more information.
What level are the sessions?
The level of presentation is identified by the speaker and is based on expected audience experience and knowledge. All sessions fall in the Intermediate level. This level requires a basic knowledge and some experience in the topic area. With a brief emphasis on terms, the focus is on “How does it work?” and the user benefits, and includes detailed examples. Advanced sessions require a working knowledge and considerable experience in the topic area by attendees and may further require basic or working knowledge in one or more related areas outside the specific topic area. The focus is on “Can I apply this to my organization?”, “How do I implement it?”, “How do I evaluate it?”. Examples and calculations may be fairly complex and only new technical terminology will be specifically defined. Also included in sessions of this level are in-depth evaluations of alternatives.
How do I get a copy of the sessions I registered for?
Log into your profile here with your email address and password. Then, select Event Registrations
What about continuing education credits?
Live Sessions: Each session will qualify for 1.2 CTP/FPA/CEU when attended live.
Approved for up to 12 CTP/CCM recertification credits by the Association for Financial Professionals at the rate of one credit for each 50 minutes of attendance.
Approved for up to 12 FPAC credits by the Association for Financial Professionals at the rate of one credit for each 50 minutes of attendance.
Recorded sessions on-demand: Up to 19 additional credits may be obtained by accessing the session recordings and completing a brief assessment.
A certificate of attendance will be available for download on the CrowdCompass app after the event.
In addition, the program has been designed to comply with the requirements set forth by NASBA for CPE credits for Accountants.   
Are the speaker’s slides available for sessions?
Presentation files will be available for download if the presenter shares their files with New England AFP. Be sure to check the session page on the Online Event Guide for updated information.
Do I need to attend all the sessions in a particular track?
No, you should select the sessions that most interest you. You should move around among the sessions in order to maximize your learning.


Is there a dress code for the virtual conference?
Our presenters, volunteers and staff will be dressed business casual. You can choose what is most comfortable for you as a virtual participant. Please note that we encourage the use of video during all our sessions.
What breaks are scheduled?
We have planned breaks in between sessions to allow you time to meet with other attendees and sponsors. You will also have enough time to grab another cup of coffee and take a stretch before the next session.
What networking activities occur during the conference?
There will be multiple networking activities and opportunities for conference participants. During breaks and in the morning before virtual sessions begin, we encourage you to connect with conference attendees and sponsors through the link for the Business Connection Zone found in the Agenda in the Online Event Guide.
What is a Virtual Wine Tasting?
Hear from Jenny Johnson of NESNs “Dining Playbook” and other experts as they walk you through our four samplings, the various grapes/regions and perfect pairings! You’ll be able chat with the experts and each other and when the presentation is done, hang out in the Remo space and network face to face.
You must register for the Virtual Wine Tasting at Registration, and be one of the first 100, to receive wines to sample. Wine samples can only be shipped with MA.  Those from out of state,  in the first 100, will receive a gift card to purchase wine for the event.

I'm active on Twitter/LinkedIn/Instagram/Facebook. What's the best way to follow live updates from the conference?
We recommend following (and posting on) the activity feed on the Online Event Guide. Likewise, speakers and conference participants are encouraged to use the #NEAFP21 hashtag when sharing social media content.
What if I have technical issues?
Technical support will be provided during the conference. In Remo, there is a help button on the bottom left. For CrowdCompass or Webex, please contact our help desk through the Online Event Guide or the Chat feature.


How do I fill out a session evaluation?
Filling out an evaluation is easier than ever. Simply click on the schedule icon in the Online Event Guide, select the session you would like to provide feedback on, tap “Session Evaluation” and begin!

When will I be able to interact with sponsors?
The conference will open with dedicated Business Connection Zone time on Wednesday, May 6 from 9:00 am-11:15 am and on Thursday, May 6 from 9:00-11:30 am. You are also welcome to visit their virtual space during any breaks during the conference.
