What is the definition of a practitioner?

The AFP defines Corporate practitioners as those direct or execute finance, treasury or accounting functions in their organization. Examples of job functions include treasurer, controller, risk manager, cash manager, financial analyst, accountant, etc. (Sales, relationship management, consulting, product development and marketing job functions are not considered practitioners.)

**What is a Non-Participating Bank/Vendor?

A participating bank/vendor organization is one that markets product/services to treasury professionals or banks AND is a New England AFP Conference Sponsor . If your organization provides products or services to treasury professionals or banks, and your organization IS NOT listed under Sponsors, then you are considered a non-participating bank/vendor.

SMALL BUSINESS: This conference qualifies for reimbursement through the State Workforce Training Express Fund. Companies with fewer than 100 staff from Massachusetts will receive up to 100% of the cost of training reimbursed. You must register for this course and apply for reimbursement through the Workforce Training Express Fund website a minimum of three weeks before the start date of the course to be eligible (By March 19) The course code for this program is C-14969.

HOTEL POLICY

Guestroom Reservation Deposit: A credit card is required to guarantee and the rooms at the group rate. There will be an additional Resort Fee of $12.95 per room per night charged at check out.
Amenities included in this fee are: Access to the fitness center facilities, two (2) bottles of water, in-room coffee and tea, newspaper upon request, unlimited local calling, and high speed wired internet access in the hotel room. Room rates and Resort Fee are subject to a 15% MPT Occupancy Tax (subject to change), per room, per night, in effect at the time of check-in. Foxwoods’ cancellation policy requires guestrooms to be cancelled by 4:00 pm (2) two days prior to the date of arrival in order to avoid a cancellation penalty. Failure to give proper notification will result in the forfeiture of the advanced deposit. A valid cancellation number is necessary to avoid a no-show charge.
