On July 16th, 65 members and guests gathered for our bi-monthly meeting at Harpoon Brewery’s “Beer Hall” to network over a pint and to hear Betsy Taylor, Director of Finance & Treasury at Massport, present on her organizations finance function as well as the Port Authority’s role in moving people and goods around the Commonwealth. Betsy was a great presenter and very well received! She covered the operations of Mass Port and the Port Authority as well as a detailed lively discussion around Massport’s Financial & Legal Structure, the complexities around managing Cash/Investments as well as debt structure and their activity with the rating agencies and debt markets.
