Within EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice, the Global Treasury Advisory Services (GTAS) team is a national practice and leading provider of treasury services to public and private corporations, financial services organizations, government agencies and not-for-profits organizations. RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for an experienced treasury professional to join EY GTAS to help drive growth and manage delivery teams, bring subject matter expertise around Treasury processes to our advisory services. The Manager will manage teams of advisory professionals during engagements covering a broad spectrum of treasury areas.
- Support engagement planning, budgeting, execution and management
- Support the following activities:
• Business requirements and gap analysis
• Blueprint (mapping) and integration workshops leading to design documents
• Process flows and detailed process design documentation
• Functional specifications
• Master data definitions
• Inbound / outbound interface design
• Data migration strategy
• Integration with external systems
• End-user training and support
Specific areas of focus include but not limited to:
- In-House cash
- House bank structure
- Bank communications
- Bank account G/L structure
- Inter-company processes
- Payment processing
- Collection processing
- Liquidity planning
- Ensure products/deliverables meet contract/ work plan specifications and deadlines
- Lead the development of tools and methodologies for project delivery
- Develop and managing relationships with external and internal (EY) clients
- Support the proposal development process for prospective treasury engagements
- Support the development of new service offerings and go-to-market strategies
• Develop and mentor other members of GTAS team - Ability to lead a team and to establish credibility as a trusted advisor with clients
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex information in a concise and clear manner
- Strong executive presence and ability to interface with all levels of management (EY and clients)
- Strong project management and organizational experience
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% to 80% of the time
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in accounting, finance, financial engineering, economics, information technology and information systems, engineering and/or other appropriate academic major; MBA preferred. Approximately 5 years of related work experience. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification is preferred. Experience with a large global corporate treasury department and/or consulting experience desired. - Treasury organizational structure and transformation
