Same Day ACH is finally a reality. The NACHA voting membership approved a rules change in May of 2015 and the Federal Reserve Board has announced the Federal Reserve as an ACH Operator will accept the rules as it is written in the ballot. Companies in September of 2016 will be able to send ACH credit same day. This session, aimed at both bankers and corporate practitioners, will help you understand and build the use cases for Same Day ACH, gain an understanding of the actual Same Day ACH Rule, learn what changes do you need to make now as a company to prepare for Same Day ACH and learn what the Operator Schedule will look like for processing.
The Race to Faster Payments

As the industry responds to consumer and business demand for faster and more secure payment options with new initiatives like Same-Day ACH, Real-Time ACH and clearXchange, how can corporates determine the best options to meet their needs for faster payments as well as those of their business partners and customers? This session will share the benefits and challenges of using the new accelerated payment options and define the new options.
Approved for up to 3.0 CTP/CCM recertification credits by the Association for Financial Professionals at the rate of one credit for each 50 minutes of attendance.

Sean Carter, AAP, New England ACH Association
Sean Carter is a Senior Vice President at NEACH. Sean is responsible for risk and compliance programs offered by NEACH which include education, conference and e-learning products like our Risk Rating Tool. Sean is serving his third term on the NACHA Rules and Operations Committee. Sean is serving his first term on NACHA’s Risk Management Advisory Group. Sean is the chairman of NACHA’s Risk and Quality Rules Work Group. Sean speaks at several conferences across the country including being an annual speaker at the NACHA Payments Conference. Sean received his AAP in 1999 and was re-credited in 2004 and 2009. Sean joined NEACH in 1998.
Carl Slabicki, CTP, AAP, BNY Mellon Treasury Services
Carl Slabicki is a Senior Product Manager at BNY Mellon for USD Clearing Product Management. In his current role, Carl is responsible for supporting and developing integrated services to facilitate ACH payments as well as strategy development for Faster Payment initiatives such as Real-time Payments. Prior to joining BNY Mellon in 2014, Mr. Slabicki was the Treasurer for the Wurth Group of North America Inc. which is the regional in-house bank, holding company and shared service center for the Wurth Group. Mr. Slabicki graduated from Muhlenberg College with bachelor degrees in Economics and in Business Administration. He is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) and a member of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP).
