presented by Christopher Remington and Tim Robey, Eaton Vance Management
In the face of money market reform and the permeation of near-zero policy rates, treasury and cash managers continue the search for optimal investment allocations. Meeting expected return targets while hedging duration remains a top concern, bringing into focus opportunities in senior floating-rate corporate loans. This session provides a primer on the asset class, an update on current market conditions and a look at what may lie ahead for treasury and cash managers exploring this oft missed market segment. Eaton Vance reviews the role of loans as an “outer edge” holding for cash portfolios, uncovering key risk/return considerations for managers.
