Angela Sarno, VP Marketing, PaymentWorks
Far too many finance leaders remain unaware of the upcoming Nacha Rule change and what it means for their payment operations. With compliance deadlines fast approaching—some as soon as March 2026—organizations can no longer afford to wait.
In this session, Nacha and PaymentWorks will explain what’s changing, why it matters, and how to align vendor onboarding and change management processes to meet the new requirements. From understanding risk-based monitoring to clarifying third-party obligations, this session will translate complex rules into clear operational steps.
You will leave with an understanding of the Rule’s intent, the compliance timeline, and specific actions to take immediately to safeguard against fraud and noncompliance.
Learning Objectives:
- The intent and scope of Nacha’s new ACH credit push payment Rule
- What “risk-based” monitoring and verification really mean in practice
- How to assess your organization’s current readiness and close compliance gaps
- The shared responsibilities between financial institutions, third parties, and payors
- Practical steps and examples to implement compliant, fraud-resistant processes
